March the 23th, 2007 Big powderdays Finally we have some fresh snow, after 2 weeks of sun the clouds finally came and it snowed for 3 days in a row and right now we have at least 100 cm of fresh snow! also we made some sweet kickers this week but i dont have any pictures of it. A friend of mine and me went to the woodsandmade some pretty sick pics again. Check them out here I've heard that there's another big dump coming so a new powder update soon!! March the 19th, 2007 Peanut Butter Railjam Oke finally an update again! The last two weeks were not so interesthing, a lot of sun, a lot of slushy slopes and i also went to the park pretty often. Last saturday there was also a Volcom rail contest which was pretty cool! I went there to shoot some pictures for www.tacky.nl and for my own website, you can check them out here and here. For the rest there is not so much to tell, the only good thing is that after 2 weeks ofzo bluebird its finally dumping again, 30 cm in one night!!! so you can expect some powder shots this week. March the 5th, 2007 New Clothes!! The last couple of days were not so interesting. We've had a lot of fresh snow and we've also been riding the bc-kicker that we build a couple of weeks ago, pretty easy this time because we only had to remove the top layer of snow and voila...there was the kicker again. Today i bought bought a pretty sick new outfit for next year from "Section". I will upload some pics of it soon, i bet you'll like it. That was pretty much it, i probably go to the park in Mayrhofen soon to shoot some sweet pics. You can expect a bigger update then. Februari the 22th, 2007 A whole week of park riding Well people, this week was pretty amazing! I have been to the park almost every day and the weather was awesome, i also finally had the chance to check and test my new camera in the park and i've got some pretty sick pictures. We have been shooting loads of pictures the day before yesterday with some friends, check them out here. Also some bad news, a good girlfriend of mine crashed on the big one and she's not able to ride anymore, lets hope for a quick recovery, take care Britte! Some of the pics i made were from the day before she crashed, she did some back 3 and 5's at the pro-line, pretty sick! I've also heard that the next couple of days is gonna be really bad weather so i'm hoping for some fresh snow....we definitly could use it! well that's about it for this week. Februari the 18th, 2007 Riding the (finally finished) park Holy shit, finally the park is finished, not a bad idea after two months of beginner and medium line riding. They added some nice new obstacels to the park and a proline of 3 kickers (12m, 14m and 18m...something like that i guess) I haven't done any weird stuff yet but that will come soon. Februari the 15th, 2007 Backcountry kicker fun Yesterday we finally had the chance to ride some good powder again and today was my day off so i decided to search for a good spot for a backcountry kicker. I left the hotel around 9 o'clock and i went to the secret kicker spot. The secret kicker spot is a small spot with loads of bumps and hills between the trees. The good thingabout it, is that is hidden really well! Not much later i started shaping and 3,5 hours later there was a nice kicker! A friend of mine brought me and my friends some food, we charged up for the session, and we've been hitting the kicker for 2 hours. after those 2 hours the landing was pretty fucked up so we left back to the hotel but it was a really good session!! check out these pics. Februari the 14th, 2007 The beauty of untouched snow Finally we've had the chance to ride some badass powder, it has been snowing for 2 days now and there's for the first time in the season finally enough snow to ride some good powder. Me, Rolf, Ricky and Rob went to the 2000 (that's the name of a slope here) and searched for a good spot to make some big sprays, we found one and you can check the result here. For the rest is the park in Mayrhofen finally finished, i havent been able yet to check it out but i'm going there this week so updates about the park really soon. But snowboarding wasn't the only thing we did the last week...me and my friends went partying in Gerlos, that's a little village next to Konigsleiten, its pretty famous under dutch partypeepz so we wanted to check it out and it was really good, nice girls, lots of beers and some really bad music. for the rest nothing new happend. New update about Mayrhofen coming soon i hope! Januari the 31th, 2007 Where's the rest of the park ? Sorry folks but i didn't have time for some good updates! So this update includes a lot of nice pics i made the last few weeks, almost no badass action pics because the pipe in Gerlos and the Burton park in Mayrhofen are still not finished, today i was in the park again and they made the bases for the proline so it's gonna be some good shredding soon! Check out the photo update. Januari the 5th, 2007 We lost a roomie. Another update from Austria! My friend/roomie and collegue is already gone for 2 weeks now because of a dislocated shoulder....He will be back in 2-3 weeks but it sucks! Also the snow is pretty sad, check out this picture. They are expecting lots of new snow but i dont know, first i have to see it. Januari the 1st, 2007 Happy newyear!! Well, happy newyear everybody, we had a big party at the hotel yesterday and it was really good. We started off with some working and then around 10 o'clock the big party started. Then we celebrated newyear with all of our collegues, after 12 when we finished the champaign and fireworks we went to the local bar and drunk a little to much alchohol....good party!!! December the 15th, 2006 Leaving holland Yup, today was the big day, i finally left my home and went straight to Austria to spent my winter over there. I'm gonna stay there for 4 months and do a lot of dishes and snowboarding, we'll go there with 10 other dutch people who all go there to do some snowboarding or skiing. I've heard there already a little snow but i'm still waiting for the big dump.... November the 21th, 2006 Barcelona Today i went to Schiphol Airport to catch my flight to Barcelona, i go there to visit a spanish girlfriend of mine. I'm gonna stay there for 2 weeks to do a little snowboarding (if there's enough snow..) i'll be back the 10th of december and then i leave to Austria the 15th of December. November the 15th, 2006 Finally I got my cam!! Yup today i've bought my new canon 30d cam, and it's an amazing piece of equipment. All day long i've been trying to figure out how it works but i think it's gonna take a while before i got it totally under control. Anyway i made a little collection of the first pics i made, check them out at the photo's page. November the 6th, 2006 New site online Finally my new site is online, i took me a lot of work to compleet it because this is the first website i've ever build.
